Today marks the fiftieth year since Dr. King was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee.  In thinking about his death and juxtaposing it to the death of Stephon Clarke who was shot six times in the back by the police, I question the progress we have made.  I wonder after all the laws we’ve passed, and all the politicians we’ve elected, are our bodies any more safe than before?  What good are our rights if we can be murdered without justice?

Although there are many more words that I could say, and want to say in this moment, I have chosen instead to express my feelings through this short slide show.
